This is indeed one of the best process engineering courses available. Besides design calculations, it also helps the process engineer to attain practical knowledge about technical bid evaluations, which makes this course extraordinary.
I believe this course is a complete package in itself and can be used by freshers as well as experienced engineers as a refresher course.
Another aspect of this course is that since it is available online, one can easily access the contents as per their availability.
I would really thank Mihir Sir for making this course available at an affordable cost, at a time when there has been a shortage of experienced mentors in the chemical process industry.

It’s a wonderful effort by Mr. Mihir, well prepared in detail for an average engineer to understand and work effective on all the various oil & gas and petrochemical process requirements, the Mihir’s process engineers hand book is a wonderful piece of work, with the sample calculations and the problems given, this will be definitely a piece of work that many generation of engineers will benefit.

I am a professional engineer with 30 years of process experience. Thr books are quite useful. They have much in the way of the Rules of Thumb book for chemical engineers. Some of the information on Thermo are repetitive and covered well elsewhere. The good parts are the explanation of differences in equipment types and the mindset of chemical process design which can take years to acquire otherwise. I recommend the series. The encrypted PDFs are difficult to handle and make it hard to read the volumes but it’s protected so it is what it is.

The advanced course has done a splendid task in summarizing the various engineering deliverables and process design principles in a rich learning environment. The instructor walks through a comprehensive list of process engineering deliverables in a systematic manner. Moreover, the course refers to various engineering related design principles as needed. In summary, candidates should be in a better position to review their design calculations with respect to various engineering deliverables. The candidate are tremendously benefited since the advanced video course is complimented with the engineering design handbook by the same instructor.

Mihir's chemical process engineering handbook is comprehensive and provides almost all the information required for process engineering in the upstream, downstream and specialty chemicals industries. This book is very impressive, and I recommend it to every process engineer. It is never easy to compile all the necessary information in one book, and for that, I appreciate the efforts of Mihir Patel in creating an extremely useful handbook for the benefit of all process engineers.

I am always looking for reliable literature references to support my company’s design activities. In that sense, Mihir’s Handbook of Chemical Process Engineering was a nice addition to our knowledge base. With a good balance between theory and practice, it covers all important topics involved in the design of chemical plants in a simple and objective language. On top of that, the calculation spreadsheets and datasheet templates are welcome perks.

I have started to go through the e-books as well as templates and they looks good to me. Will further read and update. There can be few areas of improvement in excel sheets e.g. better way of presentation, inclusion of figures,inclusion of templates for Line sizing for single phase and two phases etc.

Highly recommend the purchase of this book. In my experience of working as a Chemical Engineer I have come across many handbooks on the given subject and yet, this one stands out for it's comprehensive text and intelligible language. This one manages to simplify things and still cover everything that I as a Chemical Engineer need to know or seek guidance upon.

I have purchased the handbook and I really appreciate its value.
The restrictions of use and access the handbook is my reason for not giving 5 stars.

It was my pleasure to go through this book and utilise it in a day to day process engineering activities. The book indeed is insightful to understand the basic concept about process engineering and apply it in reality for developing the basic and detailed engineering packages.

The handbook of chemical process engineering is the book I was looking for many years. I have 15 years of process engineering experience in refinery and petrochemical EPC projects. I can confidently say that this book is a great help for every process Engineer. Specially for young process engineers and also helpful for experience process engineers as a excellent reference book. It seemed like an useful book. Unfortunately I always use my work computer and I cannot installed 3rd party software in it. Which means I cannot see the content of the book within the pen drive. Thus I've barely being able to use it since I bought. It would be nice if the way to access the book was different.

I have 12+ years of experience in oil and gas engineering design and construction both onshore and offshore facilities.

This chemical process handbook is complete enough, covered almost all technical aspect and has practical side that really helpful for me in designing equipment or generating a comprehensive process study.

Its price is also reasonable and I recommend for all process engineers who want to enrich their knowledge to buy this handbook as their reference.
